Understanding the Main Sources of Air Pollution

Air pollution comes from various sources, both man-made and natural. Factories and power plants are major contributors, releasing harmful gases when burning fuels like coal and oil.

They burn fuels like coal and oil, which release harmful gases such as carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide into the air. Cars, trucks, and airplanes also pollute the air, producing gases like carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides.

In cities, these vehicles cause a lot of smog and dirty air. Farming adds to pollution too, with livestock and fertilizers releasing methane and ammonia.

Sometimes, nature also plays a part, like when wildfires or volcanoes release smoke and ash into the air. To reduce air pollution, we need cleaner energy, better technology, and stronger laws to control emissions.
